Our state-of-the-art, studio-grade sound system is the ABSOLUTE BEST you will find anywhere! People say "we’re crazy going out with this kind of equipment". We don’t think so. Singers have become much more serious these days and they know what they want. So do we. We didn’t assemble a Karaoke “kit” so to speak. We built a component based sound system featuring Carvin® LM-15, 500 watt speakers and amplifcation for the smaller venues, to our monster column LSX-1523's 1800 watt speakers for the larger and outdoor venues. No subwoofers needed with these baby’s! Our microphones are all Shure® PG58’s (2 wired, 2 wireless) running through a Mackie® 1402-VLZ mixer with 14 channels and an Alesis® Nanoverb 16 bit effects processor. Every singer will sound exactly like the vocals on the original recordings! Tie all this together with 2500 watts of crystal clear, distortion-free power, and you have the “ULTIMATE KARAOKE”. Our song library is outstanding..!! You don’t need 20,000 songs when 12,000 are duplicate versions. All Karaoke music production companies record mostly popular tunes from the classic hits of yesterday, to the hottest hits of today, however, many of these companies use sampling programs instead of live studio musicians for cost effectiveness. The final result is a “computerized” version of a song similar to a “CGI” or “Computer Generated Graphic” used in videos and movies. All our versions are from SoundChoice, Idol Makers, All Hits 2000 and Pop Hits Monthly. These are companies that still record with studio musicians resulting in a far superior recording that stays as true to the original as possible. So if you are thinking about having a Karaoke party, or would like to add Karaoke to a DJ event, SoundWorks is by far the best choice you can make!! Text Box: 8 Simple Rules…..Of The Show…!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 1. Whatever you do…..have a great time..!! That’s what it’s all about..!! 2. Don’t be rude!! Show your support and respect for each and every singer. We will not tolerate any inappropriate behavior. 3. Please do not bring multiple request slips up when you are ready to join the rotation. Bring ONE each time you are called to sing (sing one, bring one). Rotations can get lengthy at times so your patience is greatly appreciated. 4. DO NOT HARRASS THE HOST (KJ). This will only result in your request slips being accidentally moved to the bottom of the pile….or better yet….misplaced..!! J The host will do everything in his power to ensure everyone gets as many turns as possible in the allotted time…he won’t even sing during the show if there are a lot of singers..!! 5. All requests are played in the order they are received. No exceptions..!! 6. Anyone caught using different names or aliases to sing more frequently will be banned from singing for the rest of the evening. Please do not submit someone else’s name without their consent. We have a very embarrassing punishment for that and it WILL take place “center stage”..!! 7. Anyone using obscene language, disrespecting the equipment, ie; screaming into the mics, swinging the mics and holding the mics improperly (by the ball like a rapper) will be singing their last song. The equipment is expensive, road worthy and club grade, but not indestructible..!! 8. Please respect our books. A lot of hard work, time and money goes into this part of the show. Please watch your food and drinks at the tables. Also…..you must use requests slips at all times!! Absolutely NO VERBAL REQUESTS will be remembered. 9. Tipping the Host is allowed, greatly appreciated and encouraged however…..it WILL NOT move you up in the rotation. 10. Please DO NOT join in with another singer (duet or otherwise) unless you are invited..!! Anyone joining a performance uninvited will be denied singing privileges. 11. Because I am the Host, I make the rules, so I say there can be more than 8 simple rules….Ok, I’m done now…..Let’s have some fun..!! Thank you. DJ Steve/Venue Management.
